Body Friendly Ballet
3-4:30 with Melissa Anderson
Take some time for YOU! This is an "open-level" ballet class designed for the ballet lover of any age. Participants should have a working knowledge of beginner/Intermediate or above. Do you have achy hips, or a bum ankle? Participate as you are able and use this class as a moving meditation, exercise, or a release of your inner DANCER! No ballet slippers? Wear socks. Bring your ballet-related questions and wonderments. As a group, we will dig in and enjoy some experiential learning.

Middle Eastern Dance "Shimmies, Shimmies, and More Shimmies"

Practicing the graceful art of Middle Eastern Dance is a fun and beautiful way to celebrate a rich history of movement while staying in shape with many benefits! In this workshop students will learn and practice a wide variety of shimmies, including 3/4, Choo Choo and more! Who knew there were so many shimmies?! New to Belly Dance? Or, looking to review and strengthen your technique? This class is for all levels of ability.
4-5:15 with Amanda List
This expressive 75 min class will include a 20-30 minute warm up consisting of cardio, strengthening, and stretching. Once the body is warm and ready, focus will shift on learning/reviewing of Jazz based skills. These skills will be put into application through fun and expressive choreography.
